Section Classes


1. One vase of three stems of floribunda roses (one or more varieties)

2. One specimen hybrid tea rose

3. One vase of three blooms of HT Roses (one or more varieties)

4. Container of miniature roses (five stems one or more varieties)

Sweet Peas

5. A bowl of sweet peas (of at least 18 stems mixed colours) arranged for effect with any foliage or grasses

6. One vase of sweet peas three or more different colours (of at least nine stems)

7. One vase of seven stems of one colour

Other Flowers

8. A vase of annuals, four kinds, three stems of each (dahlias excluded)*

9. A vase of perennials, four kinds, three stems of each (trees or shrubs excluded)*

10. A foliage pot plant, up to an 8inch (20cm) pot

11. A flowering pot plant, up to an 8inch (20cm) pot

12. A hanging basket of flowers, using a basket up to 16inch (40cm) in diameter

13. A pelargonium (geranium), up to an 8inch (20cm) pot

14. A fuschia plant, up to an 8inch (20cm) pot

15. Patio pot, not to exceed 18inch (46cm)

16. Display of flower heads floating on water in a bowl, bowl not to exceed 8inch (20cm) diameter

17. A vase of mixed flowering shrubs (not less than 3 varieties)*

18. Top vase (see separate rules, available from Mr & Mrs T & M Wyatt)

19. Stroud Horticultural Society members only. Geranium grown from plug provided at March meeting. Pot size 8inch (20cm).

* Vase neck in classes 8, 9 and 17 not to exceed 4inch (10cm) in diameter
