The plans for 2013 are well advanced, and going by the pitch bookings already, it's going to be great and full of interest.
OK, so the weather beat us last year with only days to go, but like a lot of shows there was no way we could put the show on unless you possessed very large welly boots.
This year we are pleased to say we have been working with South Gloucestershire & Stroud College who are putting on the adjoining site. They will be putting on different events, displays in the college and on the show field.
The theme this year at the show is "Best of British" and there will be competitions based around this and of course all your favourites will be there from pigs, sheep, cows and rabbits, along with the best horticulture show in the area. The beer tent will be popular - beer from our local brewer, Pimms tent, bacon butties and ice cream!
Also please remember that we do not charge any admission fee for the public coming to the show. What else can you say to a good family fun day in Stratford Park?

The Rain Beat Us!

The weather well and truly beat us this time – thanks to all our supporters and suppliers for their efforts.
The 2013 Stroud Country Show is in the planning stage already, and will be held on July 20th at Stratford Park.
Stroud Show Postponed
With regret, the Stroud Show has been postponed due to a waterlogged field at Stratford Park. The Show will hopefully be re-organised for a bright and sunny day in August.
